Oh dear!

I have no idea why I was brought here so early but the taxi driver was very nice and almost knew where I lived. He has an uncle who lives in London and has been to Brighton! All this was shared in Spanish once he knew why I had come here. It is now an hour later and there are only a couple of others at the gate and I have done my best to destroy the airport.......

Well it is sometimes slightly tricky juggling hand luggage shopping and money. As I took a carton of pear juice off the shelf all the bottles next to it in the fridge started to cascade off the shelf. Now I could have left the shop rapidly but I found a very pleasant assistant and explained. Then as I went to pay for my juice and cereal bar, the small  decorative Christmas tree fell off the counter!  When the assistant said in Spanish, oh you speak Spanish, I just said yes but it's a bit early and is there a coffee shop open somewhere!  

And yes there was, and toilets that flush when you move and all electronic washbasins and towels, a slightly hair raising experience. But, they do have family toilets, separate from the men's and women's, now that's a good idea!
